📍This Course Will Cover

  • 🫁

    Respiratory Basics
We’ll start with the foundation of all vocal sound: breath. You’ll learn how the respiratory system powers the voice, what efficient breathing looks (and feels) like, and how to spot and support healthy breath habits in your singers.

  • 🗣️

    The Larynx
Next, we’ll explore the larynx. You’ll discover how sound is actually created, the role of the vocal folds, and how pitch, volume, and vocal registers are manipulated. We’ll also talk about common issues and how to address them with practical tools.

  • 🎶

    The Vocal Tract
Once sound is made, it has to be shaped. This class focuses on the resonators and articulators that shape vocal tone, color, and clarity. You’ll learn about vocal placement, vowels, and how the vocal tract affects different styles of singing.

  • 🎤

    Mixing and Voice Care
Finally, we’ll put it all together. This session is about blending registers (chest, head, mix), avoiding vocal fatigue, and caring for the voice in a professional context. You’ll come away with techniques to help your singers build longevity and versatility.

    Applicable Exercises and Strategies

In order to get the most out of your singers in each lesson. What’s a bunch of science without some easy and quick ways to apply them in your teaching/directing space anyways?

And, you have 3 whole months of access to try these exercises, and discuss them with our community!

  • 😮🎶

A Monthly Voice Lesson for YOU!

It’s hard to apply all new strageties things without doing them yourself. This program includes a monthly voice lesson with Kate so you can chat, sing and discuss even more ways to help yourself, and your singers.

And did I mention, a community of likeminded educators to chat and support each other too!
