Most recently, Kate assisted in a large scale research project alongside Sophie Dove and Leryn Turlington, studying the effects of COVID-19 on singers. The article can be read here. Kate is currently working to research singing and voice resources for LGBTQ+ allies, specifically transgender allies looking to learn more, and help improve trans women’s experience with voice feminization.

Kate specializes in gender-affirming voice training and contemporary voice training, using evidence-based pedagogy to help her student reach their fullest potential.

My vision for the singers in my studio is to light a fire in them. I want to help them find themselves within their singing and within themselves.

Through creative expression, and space to make mistakes, let’s explore the highs and lows of the human connection. Let’s do this through singing.
